JWT series PET bottle flake single screw pelletizing line is mainly used to produce high quality yarn spinning grade PET pellets, etc. Equipped with a dehumidification and crystallization drying system, the screw adopts a special LTM low-temperature mixing element, the host adopts an energy-saving insulation cover structure, and is equipped with a booster pump system and a double-stage double-cyinder melt fiter to ensure the uniformity of the temperature of the material. Improve the purity of the material; the granulation line can effectively control the B value and L value and the viscosity drops to the lowest.

Special Screw Design Optimized for PET

High-quality nitride or bimetallic screws (often W6Mo5Cr4V2A alloy or similar) with barrier flights or mixing sections. These ensure gentle melting, minimal shear degradation, and good homogenization without excessive IV loss.

Many have L/D ratios of 30–36:1 — long enough for proper plasticization and venting.


Strong Vacuum Degassing / Venting System

This is crucial for PET. Single or double vacuum vents (often <1 mbar) remove moisture and volatiles right in the melt. Good lines keep IV drop to 3–8% even without pre-crystallization drying in some designs.


Force-Feeding / Crammer Feeder

PET flakes are light and can bridge. Force feeders or compactor-style feeders push material steadily into the screw, preventing starvation and surges.


High-Efficiency Melt Filtration

Automatic or hydraulic screen changers (mesh 40–120 μm) remove paper labels, aluminum bits, or unmelted contaminants. Stable single-screw pressure helps push melt through fine screens without fluctuations.


Flexible Pelletizing Options

· Strand pelletizing (classic for PET): melt extruded into water bath → cooled → dried → cut. Reliable and common.

· Water-ring pelletizing: faster cooling, rounder pellets, less dust — increasingly popular for PET.

· Underwater pelletizing: very uniform, good for higher outputs.

Self-adjusting cutters and auto RPM control keep pellet size consistent (usually 3–5 mm or customizable).


Energy-Efficient Heating & Drive System

IE3 motors + VFDs, zoned barrel heating, and optimized screw geometry cut power use. Many lines achieve 0.25–0.45 kWh/kg — competitive for single-screw PET processing.


Wear-Resistant Barrel & Screw

Bimetallic or special alloy barrels handle PET's slight abrasiveness (from TiO2 or residues). Good ones last 2–5 years heavy-duty before major refurb.


PLC Touchscreen Control & Automation

Modern lines feature recipe storage, real-time monitoring of pressure/temperature/screw speed, and alarms. Some allow remote diagnostics.


Integrated Drying / Crystallization (in Some Models)

Advanced single-screw lines pair with agglomerators or built-in pre-heating to crystallize and dry flakes on-the-fly, reducing or eliminating separate dryers and saving energy.
